And I really want to play it in that mode but I can't cause that one little mechanic ruins the game entirely for me.Tomb Raider: Underworld represents a new advancement in exploration-based gameplay. Pisses me off cause without that mechanic that mode would ahve been everything I wanted in a hardcore mode. Secondly, it's just too frustrating cause they literally start regaining health if you haven't hit them in a second or less. (I want to get good by getting better at sneak or being creative in how I destroy enemies). First of all I'd like the mechanic gone entirely cause one thing I love about BotW was encouraging you to find your own way to get through things and that mechanic makes it so the only real way to get through enemies is "get good". I got that but they ruined it with one thing (and I mean it was ruined for me, I found I had more fun in normal mode just for thisthing), the fact the enemies regain health almost instantly if you aren't hitting htem every second. I wanted harder elements that made me have to think more about how I approach things or if I want to avoid things entirely and also made crafting potions and such more important. It's what I wanted as I felt the original game was a bit too easy. Zelda BoTW's hardcore mode (can't remmeber the actual name for it). Not a game but a certain difficulty mode of a game. What games have you played that made you feel this way? This game had the potential, it ALMOST delivered. The only hope this game has is a second wind with crossplay and matchmaking being fixed alongside it. Many players have abandoned and moved either back to old games like SFV or to DNF Duel (rip). Influencers/Youtubers have abandoned the game in part because of this. It can takes minutes to find a match and in some cases you cannot find one at all. There is still a site for this game counting the days since matchmaking has been broken and guess what, it has been broken since launch. AND the game has rollback! It is the best SNK fans could have hoped for! The game came out at a great time with limited competition and a hunger for something new. LOOK AT THIS ROSTER! Its SO good! King of Fighters XV has a fantastic cast, great mechanics, and an insane soundtrack. ![]()
